Is the glass half empty? Or is it half full? That's a good question, I guess it all just depends on your point of view. Of course if you've gone through hell and back through out your life you'll always see the glass as half empty, since the filled side is blocked by the counter top you could never see over since you never had the chance to truly grow as a person. However, if you were allowed to grow enough, and be happy, you understood that, that glass had some milk in it. If you're life was good, you're always going to see it as half full, but if your life was rough and only full of hard times, of course you'd only see the empty side.

Here's how I look at it, the glass can be full if you want it to be, you just have to fill it up with more milk that fits your pleasure. Or you can just dump all of it down the sink. Your choice. I however choose to look at it as a balanced way of life. The empty half of the glass allows you to realize that you have to make the most of the filled side, and so you savor every sip of it. These sips of life are from the new bought carton of milk, not the milk that you filled to the rim, and then left out for days at a time.

You have to be able to understand that life has its ups and downs, and if you choose to make everything bad, everything will be bad. If you choose to make everything happy, everything will be happy. But the fact still remains you need a bit of both, a half empty glass of milk. You need those empty time to teach you facts of life that make the positive aspects get even better. You'll always have those empty moments where you wish you could just dump it down the sink. That's not the answer, there is no answer because everyone's different.

Always remember the glass is always half empty and half full. It all just depends on where you stand. Make best of what you have, and always put things into perspective, never concentrate on specific things for too long or else you'll never be able to see whats up ahead in life. Just take the half empty, half full, glass of milk you have and run with it! just make sure not to spill it.

Just a thought...

Pow goes the gun
And flop goes the body
There goes their father
And the one they call mommy

From a household, they were led,
Parents gone, a blast to the head
They got no will, they're taught to kill
Got nothing left, nothing right

A mindless toy soldier
In the body of a boy
Nothing but a weapon
For them to deploy

They're just little boys
With large grown up toys.
They're simple toy soldiers
That are worked to the bone,
Without any closures,
Without anywhere to call home

They wanna play games
They wanna see laughter
Not the glare of a gun
And lives to shatter

Smoldered souls and shattered spines
Destructive doctrines on harmless minds
Guns on their backs, no smiles, but frowns
No memories in their grasp, just cold deadly rounds
They're taught to obey, forced into their soul
With nothing left inside, just a big empty hole

Children to destruct
Soldiers to construct
Drugged to instruct
In a band to conduct
Nothing but a product
Who's lives have been soul sucked

They're;
Like the blind mice
They're a simple device
They're easy to lead
And they have no control
They're down on their knees
They beg and scream please
Death is a guarantee
And they are shown no mercy
It's a life that they lack
When their whole world goes black
